

HAYASHI, Tamae April 25, 1923 - Dec. 30, 2013 Tamae passed peacefully on December 30th at her home in Sacramento. She was born in Seattle, WA and relocated to Japan, attending elementary school, eventually returning to San Francisco where she completed her education. She worked for many years at the DMV and during that time, made life-long friends, who she cherished very much. Tamae was a devout member of the Konko Church of Sacramento and attended church regularly. She was a loving mother to Kenny Hayashi, Ann Mitsunaga (Wayne), Jean Kawahatsu, Richard Hayashi (Koren). Loving grandmother to Sandy (Konstantin), Carrie (Des), Kevin, Aron, Kristyn, Lauryn, and great grandmother to Yori, Tashi. Loving auntie to Mark, Koji (Deb), Dale, Peggy (David). Predeceased by her husband Kenjiro, father Rev. Yasukichi Yasumura, mother Natsu, brother Masayuki, sister Mitsuko Nakahara (Wataru), baby grandson Kenji Hayashi. Memorial Services will be held at Harry A. Nauman & Son on January 11th at 1:00pm, 4041 Freeport Blvd., Sacramento, CA 95822. Thanks to the staff at Mercy Hospice Care, Triple R Program at ACC and the Hart Center, and the Respite Program at ACC for their loving support. We will miss our Mom very much. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Konko Church of Sacramento or the Asian Community Center.
