Mr. Pruitt was born March 11, 1938, in Piedmont, MO, a son of Charles and Anner (nee Street) Pruitt. He is survived by his children, Theresa (Joe) Fischer, David (Diana) Fitzgerald, Karen (Kurt) Schulte, and Stephen (Tina) Pruitt; grandchildren, Garrett, Julia, and Marissa Fischer, Christina "Nikki", Christopher (Vanessa), Zachary, and Joshua Fitzgerald, Michael (Terry) Wilper, Stephen Pruitt, Jr., Krista (Ryan) McCormack, and Anthony Pruitt, and Kelly Pruitt, and eight great-grandchildren. Mr. Pruitt was preceded in death by his parents, grandson Alex Wichman, and siblings, Alice, June, and Eugene. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
SERVICES: Graveside service 12 p.m. Tuesday, August 18, 2020 in Mount Lebanon Cemetery 11101 St. Charles Rock Rd., St. Ann, MO 63074. Please meet in the cemetery parking lot at 11:45am to assemble for procession to graveside. There is no public visitation or service inside the funeral home.
The family requests that all attending the graveside service to please wear masks and follow St. Louis County mandates regarding COVID-19.
