BOTKIN, James Dariel, 80, on Tuesday, December 11, 2014. Beloved husband of the late Elaine (nee Popham) Botkin; loving father of Terry Alaniz, Bruce Botkin, and Carol Hartzer; dear son of the late Orville Otis Botkin, Sr. and Goldie L. (nee Williams) Malone.; dear brother of Junior Botkin, Carol Fohey, Jim Mooney, Kay Gallagher, Betty Mae Cook, Dee Mooney, Otto Mooney, and the late Ronald Botkin, Ann Nash, Vera Steelman, and Peggy Morris; grandfather of 10; great grandfather of 19.
A US Air Force Veteran, having served from 1952 -1956, James loved watching Cardinal Baseball as long as he was in the best seat in his house. He was also an avid golfer. He will be missed by his fellow truck drivers with whom he loved to play golf near Kentucky Lake. He was a member of Wellston Lodge #613 A.F. & A.M., now part of Bridgeton Lodge #80 A.F. & A.M.
SERVICES: Visitation 11am - 1pm Tuesday, December 16, 2014 followed by services at 1pm at Alexander-White-Mullen Funeral Home. Masonic Services by Bridgeton Lodge #80 A.F. & A.M. at 12:30pm. Interment Mount Lebanon Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Disabled Veterans National Foundation 1020 19th St., NW Ste 475 Washington, D.C. 20036.
