Yvette Ouellette

July 7, 1932 – February 28, 2021

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our beloved Mother, Grandmother (Nanny), Great-Grandmother, and friend. Yvette Cardinal passed away peacefully on February 28, 2022, at the age of 89.

Predeceased by her husband, Gaston Cardinal, her daughter, Suzanne and grandson, Christopher. Loving mother to Diane (James), Suzanne (Bill), Colette, Nicole (Robert), and Michelle (Mike). She was a proud Nanny to Christopher, Alexis, Tanya, Matthew, Stefan, Shawn, Chantale, Samantha, Kelsey, Megan, Sarah, and 13 great grandchildren.

After several years of adventure and travel, she fell into the comfortable routine of making jigsaw puzzles, watching competitive curling (while sipping her cherry brandy), card games, including solitaire on her computer and when she had some free time, Coronation Street was her go-to TV show.

Even though Mom was a kind, gentle soul who could only see the positive side of things in life, she will always be remembered for her quirky sense of humor and her feistiness.
