Daniel Mackin, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on June 28, 2025. Known for his warm smile and joyful spirit, Dan never met a stranger—his kindness and easygoing nature drew people to him wherever he went.
He had a deep love for golf and could often be found on the course, sharing stories and laughter with friends old and new. Whether lending a hand at charity events or simply being there for those in need, Dan lived a life of generosity and purpose. He truly had a heart for helping others.
Dan was a man who loved deeply—especially his wife, Cindy, the love of his life and his true soulmate. He often said he waited what felt like 20 years for her, having always had a crush on her from the start. Their bond was built on admiration, laughter, and enduring love—a love that brought him peace and completeness.
Above all, he cherished his family. His daughter Macy, son Spencer, and son-in-law Chris brought him immense pride, and his grandchildren—Kinsley, Kennedy, Brady, and Charlotte—were the light of his life. Being “Papa” was his favorite title, and he treasured every moment spent with them.
Dan is survived by his loving wife Cindy; daughter Macy; son Spencer; son-in-law Chris; grandchildren Kinsley, Kennedy, Brady, and Charlotte; his sister Janet Miller; niece Lenna Miller; and nephew Owen Miller. He leaves behind a family who adored him and a legacy of love that will live on in each of them.
Dan will be remembered not just for the joy he brought into every room, but for the love and laughter he shared so freely, and for the impact he had on so many lives.
He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
