Stephen Wesley Blaylock

He was born on May 16,1969 in Bluefield, WV to Smokey and Suzie Blaylock. Stephen lived life to the fullest, following his motto, “Keep playing, man. Gotta keep playing.” He traveled often to the Red Rocks of Arizona and Utah, and enjoyed playing guitar, riding dirt bikes, and fishing. He was the world’s biggest Eddie Van Halen fan and an avid supporter of the Miami Dolphins. Most of all, he loved his family and spending time with his wife and children.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Suzie and Smokey Blaylock. He is survived by his immediate family, his wife, Tanya, and his two children, Wesley and Halen, his sister, Stephanie Danko and her husband Paul, his brother, Scott Blaylock and his wife April, and his nieces and nephew, Emily and Anna Danko, and Jordon, Abby, and Sophie Blaylock. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Sandra Valdes, his brothers and sisters-in-law, James Valdes, David Powell, Aimee Montoya, Jennifer Flores, and Stephanie Cochran.

Family will receive friends on Monday, March 31, from 5-7 PM at Hardage-Giddens St Johns to honor and celebrate his life. In typical Stephen style, come dressed casually. IYKYK. Cremation will take place after the celebration.
