

William (“Bill”) DeCiuceis of Saint Johns, Florida, passed away on May 19th, 2025. He was born in Yonkers, New York on June 11, 1949. He was married to the love of his life, Lorraine DeCiuceis, on March 13, 1971.
Bill had a great career in the Westchester, New York, Department of Corrections. He worked his way up over the years, and finally retired in October of 2000 as the Associate Warden of the Westchester County Jail. He was highly regarded and loved in his field by everyone he came in contact with. His accolades include not only his position as Warden, but he also worked with the DEA, the US Marshall Service, the Office of the Inspector General, SWAT, Internal Affairs, and SIU.
He had many passions in life. Family always came at the forefront. Camping in his motorhome and staying at the beach were also things he always looked forward to and enjoyed. He loved the water and being in the sun. He also loved watching football, playing corn hole, and building puzzles. He was also incredible at gardening. He could make anything grow. He also had a love for boats, having several over his years.
He is survived by his wife, Lorraine DeCiuceis, his sons William J. (Billy) DeCiuceis (Teresa DeCiuceis) and Bryan D. DeCiuceis (Angelique DeCiuceis) his daughter Amie M. Kuzio (Jorge Kuzio) and his grandchildren: Caleb Kuzio, Kendall Kuzio, Bryana DeCiuceis, Logan DeCiuceis, and Starr Lambert.
Visitation will be held from 5-7pm on Friday, May 23, 2025 at Hardage-Giddens at 1285 Saint Johns Parkway in Saint Johns, Florida 32259.
