I miss you so much, grandma. Koda passed yesterday. She must’ve needed to join you, 13 years was too long. It’s crazy to think you knew her for almost 4 years before you passed. That doggy lived for 17 years! You were always so loving with animals, just like mom. I hope you’re cuddling Jasmine, Ginger, Duchess, Happy, Koda, and anyone else I’m forgetting. I love you.

Grandma Fitz, I miss you today and every day. I hope you and Grandma Houska are enjoying each day together, wherever you are. I know you both enjoyed each others’ company together here on earth and can only imagine the stories you’re passing back and forth now. I feel very lost without both of you with each passing year. Please give everyone hugs for me…Grandpa Houska, Grandpa Fitz, Great Uncles Pete, Jack, Cooney, and Gene, Aunt Janet, Uncle Mike, my cousin Kevin, and everyone else I’m  missing but I know my heart is with. 
…if you ever run into Dennis Gaffey from New Jersey, please give him an extra long hug and thank him for gifting me Kevin all these years.

I was thinking fondly of my second-Mom Kay Daniels-Gillam today, and couldn't help but think of the conversation I had with her upon her Aunt Helen's death.  There was just absolute love in her voice as it cracked.  I have no doubt the two of them are kicking up their heels having a good time watching over all of you!  --David

Kay is with her mother Katherine and my mother Helen celebrating Mothers Day together.  My heart is only filled with good memories of Kay Gilliam.

This candle is for Kay Louise Daniels-Gillam. She was like an aunt to me, and my mom loved her like a daughter. I am so sad for all of you. My memories of her are so closely tied to my mom and I will never forget.

Aunt Helen's Niece Kay Louis Daniels-Gillam died last night.   Aug/05/1937 - 05/12/2012.
Survived by daughter Kay L. Daniels, son, Robert A. Daniels,  Grandson Scott R. Gillam & great grandchildren Joey, David & Destiny.

St. Patrick's Day was tough; we never missed a year of corned beef and cabbage, fresh green carnations from daddy or his rendition of 'Take Me Home Again Kathleen'. The traditions continue and you are right here with us, forever. I love you.

I am here listening to the race and I remembered when we were on Itaska, I would be bbqing and we would be listening to the race. I think you listened because I liked it.  Thank you !!

Boy am I missing you today. I hate that you were taken from us. I miss hearing your voice and the laughs we shared. I know you are not in pain anymore but I KNOW you and you would want to give us all hugs. I love and miss you more than you would have ever guessed...

It was so hard to put you in the ground... You will be in my heart forever. I still think of all the nights we had together. I loved our conversations at the kitchen table and will never for get our little excursions ...IE the rallys dinner we had down on the river front and all the times we took late night trip to IHOP. I will go down and go thru the shop we talked about Sunday and think of you when I do. I am sorry we never got back down there. I love you always and forever...

I will always be so grateful to have had such an Aunt, you were always so warm and loving.

You were part of my life since my childhood, you were part of my Mother's life in her childhood.
The memories of Holiday family gatherings are among the most valued memories of my life which I have and always will cherish.

I have always loved you & always will.

I always will remain grateful for the few opportuities provided us, late in our lives, for my father's youngest sister and me to grieve our shared losses and still enjoy our company: for the few precious moments we had together.

I was lucky enough to have met her several years ago at her niece (Kay Daniels-Gillam) and great-nephew's (Robert Daniels, II) home and was struck by what a gracious lady she was.  My sympathies to the entire family.

I feel as though we lost you over one year ago. But now I am heart broken that I will never again feel yourarms around me again. You were by far the very best mom in law ever..i love and always will love you. I know you are in Gods mighty and loving grasp and for that I am truly comforted. Even though I would love to be able to hold your hand and kiss your cheek and look into those ever so loving eyes. I was proud to be your favorite daughter in law... As you always said...
