

Born into the union of Timothy Conway Cooper Jr. and Evelyn Cooper in Prattsville, Arkansas on October 9,1947, Leo was the second eldest of seven children. The Cooper family moved to the St. Louis area when Leo was very young. Leo attended St. Louis public schools through his high school years. Shortly after graduating high school Leo was drafted into the Armed Forces (Army) where he served for (4) years and was Honorably Discharged.
Leo was very fortunate to meet and eventually marry his 1st wife Rita Nowlin and out of this union a son was born, Leo Cooper Jr. (Little Leo). After 12 years of marital bliss the union ended.
Several years later, Leo met the love of his life (His Words) – Mable-Lean Godes, who eventually became his second wife. Mable- Lean brought (2) children to the union, Jimmy Lee Watkins Jr. and Edward Watkins. Unfortunately Mable-Lean proceeded Leo death.
After several different jobs, Leo eventually landed Engineering position for National Vendors, after 25 years of service he retired from National Vendors.
Leo and Mable-Lean began studying the Bible as members of Jehovah’s Witness (s). Leo and Mable-Lean were (Baptized) into Faith in 1979 and was forever dedicated to the ministry of Jehovah and was committed to teaching the Bible and serving in the field and doing God’s work. Leo is Loved by all of his Spiritual Brothers and Sisters. Our Father, Brother and Uncle, Cousin, and Great friend to all will be truly missed.
Leo Cooper Jr. (74) was called home on November 3, 2021, in St. Louis Mo.
Leo Cooper Jr. was proceeded in death by both of his parents: Timothy Conway Cooper Jr. and Evelyn Cooper

One sister: Diane Cooper
Leo is survived by several relatives and friends :

Aunts: Dorothy Robinson, Flossie Welch, Eloise Cooper, Georgia (John) Green Uncles: James Cooper, Lewis (Julia) Cooper, Gene (Nancy) Cooper, and a host of other Nieces and Nephews, Cousins and Friends
