Louise Angela Gibson

Louise Angela Gibson (nee' LaPresto) passed away unexpectedly on Friday, February 12, 2021, at the age of 66.

Louise was the beloved wife of Ray Gibson, amazing mother of Dawn M. (Robert Cox) Gibson; loving Na-Na of Michaela (Stephen Robinson) Donovan, Michael (Angelic Jones) Donovan, Jr., and P.J. Pierce, Jr.; cherished great-Na-Na of Jayden, Aviana, and Rayleigh Robinson; treasured sister of Virginia Marie (the late Jim) Corbett, Terry (Larry) Davies, the late Patricia LaPresto, and the late James LaPresto, Jr.; dear "Aunt Beezy" of James (Angela) Corbett, Jr., Christine (Dave) Loudon, Craig (Katie) Corbett, Julie (Chris) Hoff, Scott (Kate) Davies, and Brad Davies; great-aunt of Kirstyn Corbett, Sabrina (Danny) Mason, Leanna (Paul) Rosenthal, William Corbett, Jack Corbett, Norah and Reid Hoff, and Lydia, Oliver and Colton Davies; dear best friend of Peggy Rankin; and a friend to many more in her lifetime.

Louise taught pre-school at St. Aloysius Gonzaga Grade School. She started as the "copy-machine lady" and found her niche helping teach the little ones at school. It started off as a volunteer job and quickly became her vocation. She became the unofficial counselor to many kids, because she had a willing ear and beautiful heart.

Louise will be remembered for her big heart, her open mind, loving way too much, and for always seeing the good in others. The greatest tribute that can be paid to her, is that many of Dawn's friends thought of her as their own "mom."

"You never said, 'I'm leaving.' You never said goodbye. You were gone before I knew it, And only God knew why.

A million times I needed you, A million times I cried. If love alone could have saved you, You never would have died.

In life I loved you dearly, In death I love you still. In my heart you hold a place, That no one could ever fill.

It broke my heart to lose you, But you didn't go alone. For part of me went with you, The day God took you home.

A Celebration of Louise's Life is pending COVID and better weather.

God brought us together the past few months cause He knew our time was limited. I couldn't buy Crystal Light Lemonade the other day cause that was your favorite drink while you sat on the couch at my house. We were two years apart as Sisters coming & going out of each other's lives through the years. I am Glad God brought us together especially when we realized how easily we laughed together. We always had our similar sense of Humor that others didn't understand. I Miss You Sis. BE AT PEACE.

Louise was the quietest, gentlest lady I have known. She belonged to our crochet group and was always there. Her gentle manner will be missed. My condolences to her family.
