Dr. LaDriere was my pediatrician 52 years ago until I turned about 14.  I thought of him many times over the years....he was such a kind, sweet man.  I'll always remember getting lollipops with little miniature 'tools' at the other end of the stick and reading the Highlights magazine in the waiting room, and of course, his nurse Lorraine.  May his gentle soul rest in peace.

Dr. LaDriere was my pediatrician, and even at 52, whenever I get a shot I look away and repeat over and over 'this won't hurt, this won't hurt', just like he taught me to do years ago (and it never hurts!).  He was a kind man and a good, gentle doctor who has left a wonderful legacy.  My prayers go out to his family during this difficult time.

I was so saddened to hear of your Dad's passing. I have always loved the Ladriere's and cherish my babysitting memories...I will always remember Dr.Ladrieres Saabs, and our trips to Michigan! He even gave me a vaccination in your kitchen before I left for school in Ireland! Love to you all during this sad time....hope to see you at the Memorial Mass.

Dr. LaDriere was my uncle and my pediatrician. I am very grateful for his professional care and more importantly his kindness as a human being. He always took an interest in my family. I have many good memories of Uncle Ray. My condolences to the LaDriere family.

I am so saddened by the loss of Dr. LaDriere.  I have many many memories of him, but the most memorable is his voice telling me to look at my mother while he gave me a shot and repeat "Mommy this won't hurt, Mommy this won't hurt..."  Love you and Miss you....

Oh My Goodness!  Dr. LaDriere was a major force in our family of ten.He kept us all healthy and happy.   He went to school with my parents.  They were college friends.  From what I understand my brother, Michael Dalton, Jr. was his first patient. All seven of my brothers and sisters remember before being given a shot, Dr. LaDriere would always have us chant, "This won't bother me."...it worked!  He came to my Mother's wake and I cried tears of joy!!  How kind of him!  He was a very special friend to our family and zillions of others and will be missed!  My condolences go out to his family.  I know that you already know that he made a difference in the quality of life for children.

I loved Dr. LaDriere all his life.He was my pediatrician and later I saw him where I work buying gifts for his "Lady Friend". He was truly a gentleman and my last link to my childhood. I will miss him dearly.~Nancy Niedringhaus Lambert

My deepest sympathies for your loss.

Dr. LaDriere was my pedatrician, and for my 7 siblings also.  He came to visitation for both my dad and my mom.  He was a truly great guy, and told me once I was one of his first patients (I'll be 62 this year).  He used to make house calls, something that no one does anymore.

Both my brother Jeff and I will miss Ray beyond measure.  He was so kind, so caring, so compassionate.  Rich with stories~ he will be missed every day, but especially on Saturdays by the "gang at Schneidhorst's."  Many blessings to him and his entire family.

I have only met Jeff, in the Ladriere family. Based on what I know of him, the good doctor must have been exceptional, with a solid work ethic, fair values and a passion for leaving things, and people, better than he found them. I will keep him, and your whole family, in prayer. -Wayne Norwood
