Dear daughter of David I. Cohen and Ellen L. (Curtis) Cohen. The loving sister of Cindy Gilks and her husband Steven, and Lisa Decourcy and her husband Johnny. Beloved Auntie Amy to Shaina and Aaron Gilks, and Jared and Trevor Decourcy. Cherished niece of Dale and Richard Millman, Mark and Cynthia Cohen, Harvey and Arlene Cohen, Andrea and John Mason, and Carol and the late Steve Small. The dear great-niece of Pearl and George Curtis. Amy also leaves behind her dear cousins and close family friends.

She grew up in Salem and graduated from Salem High School in 1990. Amy was a dedicated volunteer at many local charities and provided care to those in need. She loved all animals, singing, art, and a good cup of coffee. She cherished her time spent with family and friends.

A funeral service for Amy will be held on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Stanetsky-Hymanson Memorial Chapel, 10 Vinnin Street, Salem, MA 01970, with interment at Shirat Hayam of the North Shore Cemetery, Temple Israel section, 506 Lowell Street, Peabody, MA.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in her memory to Congregation Sons of Israel, Park Street, PO Box 702, Peabody, MA 01960, or to the Kaplan Family Hospice House (Care Dimensions), 78 Liberty St, Danvers, MA 01923.

A chapel service for Amy will be held Tuesday, December 31, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Stanetsky-Hymanson Memorial Chapel, 10 Vinnin St, Salem, Massachusetts 01970. Following the chapel service will be a burial at Congregation Shirat Hayam Cemetery Temple Israel Section, 506 Lowell Street, Peabody, MA.
