Boris Zuckerman, 61, of Marblehead, passed away on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 after a 3 1/2 year battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife Helen, his children Alex and Michael, their spouses Heidi and Abby, and his grandchildren Tyler and Ryan, and many friends.
He grew up in Zhmerinka, Ukraine with his parents Maya and Joseph. At 16 years old he moved to Leningrad to attend University, where he met his wife and received his Master’s Degree in Computer Science. He immigrated to the United States in 1987 with his family and settled in Marblehead. He donated generously to a number of Jewish organizations, volunteered with the IDF in Israel, and hosted a number of Russian Jewish immigrant families and helped them to start a new life. He cared greatly about the Jewish people and was a valuable member of the Jewish Community.
