David Greenberg

David Greenberg – of Swampscott, entered into rest on August 3, 2024, at the age of 63. Beloved husband of Stephanie. Devoted father of Brad and Gennifer. Loving brother of Michael Macht-Greenberg (Melinda) and Jeffery Greenberg (Beth). Dear son of Ann Greenberg and the late Ronald Greenberg.

David grew up in Worcester, graduated from Brandeis University, and raised his family in Swampscott. He was a Customer Success Executive for Cisco. He was a dedicated member of Congregation Shirat Hayam. David volunteered for many years for the Jewish Federation of the North Shore and the Jewish Journal. He was also President for many years of Eight Lights (Camp Menorah). He loved his family, vintage movies, Car Talk, and a good meal shared by family. David’s deep laughter will be profoundly missed by all who knew and loved him.

A funeral service for David will be held on Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Stanetsky-Hymanson Memorial Chapel, 10 Vinnin Street, Salem, MA 01970 with interment to follow at Cong. Shirat Hayam Cemetery, Temple Beth-El Section, 506 Lowell, Street, Peabody, MA 01960.

Shiva will be held at the Greenberg family residence following the interment on Wednesday until 4 PM & 6:00 - 8:00 PM, and will continue on Thursday, August 8th 1:00 - 4:00 PM & 6:00 - 8:00 PM and on Friday, August 9th 1:00 - 4:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in his memory to the Jewish organization of your choice.
