SWAMPSCOTT – Esther (Amsellem) Cowan, 82, of Swampscott, formerly of Beverly, entered into rest on November 4, 2013. Beloved wife of Harold Cowan. Born in Algeria, dear daughter of the late Isaac and Semha (Perez) Amsellem.
In addition to her husband with whom she shared 60 years of marriage, she is survived by two sons, Arnie Cowan and his wife Nancy of Beverly and Bob Cowan and his wife Deb of North Andover; loving sister of David Amsellem & his wife Rose of Lady Lake, FL and cherished grandmother of Jacob, Adri, Amanda and Spencer Cowan.
Funeral service at Temple B’Nai Abraham , 200 East Lothrop Street, Beverly on Thursday, November 7, 2013 at 11:00 AM. Interment at Sons of Abraham Cemetery, Beverly. Memorial observance will be held following the interment until 8:00 PM and on Saturday from 6:00-9:00 PM at the home of Arnie & Nancy.
