Harold Frank Levy

Harold F. Levy – of Danvers, formerly of Swampscott entered into rest on Monday evening, March 10, 2025 at the age of 91. Beloved husband of the late Harriet (Kanter) Levy. Devoted father of Mara Kaufman and Jill Kerrigan (Greg). Cherished grandfather of Taylor Kaufman (Griffin Beaney). Adoring Uncle of Jodi Tobyne, Derek Tobyne (Mary), and Shane Tobyne (Jillian Morong). Loving brother of the late Barbara (Levy) Snow. Dear son of the late Abraham H. and Minnie (Solar) Levy.

He grew up in Swampscott and graduated from Swampscott high school where he excelled at football and was class president. Harold graduated Harvard university in 1955 and enlisted in the army He raised his family in Beverly, MA where he owned and operated Lynn Auto supply for many years and ended his career at Jack Young Company.

He loved life! His greatest joy was meeting and engaging with people. One of the most engaging people you could meet, he loved people and was always genuinely interested in their stories. Harold was always physically active and could be spotted walking the streets of the Northshore in his yellow windbreaker. His laughter and sense of humor was contagious. He cherished his time spent with family and friends.

A graveside funeral service for Harold will be held on Thursday, March 13, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Sons of Abraham Cemetery, 18 Cole Street, Beverly, MA 01915. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in his memory can be donated to:
