Howard A. Cook

Howard Alan ‘Howie” Cook, age 65, of Salem, New Hampshire, and Delray Beach, Florida, formerly of Revere and Swampscott, Massachusetts, died suddenly on January 14, 2015, in St. Maarten. Beloved husband of Francine Hillman Cook, with whom he shared 44 years of marriage. Son of Jack and Miriam Cook and Son-in-law of Leonard and Marcia Hillman. Devoted father of Justin Cook and his wife Molly Plummer Cook, and Lindsay Cook Weiss and her husband Michael Weiss. Cherished grandfather of Jael and Meyer Cook and Avery and Brooklyn Weiss. Loving brother of Sheryl Cook Moscaritolo and Barry Cook and his wife Valerie, and brother-in-law of Bernard and Anita Horowitz. Adored papa to Tobey and Lucas Phinney. He leaves many aunts, nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, cousins and dear friends. Services at Congregation Shirat Hayam, 55 Atlantic Avenue, Swampscott on Sunday, January 18 at 2:00PM. Interment at Everett Jewish Cemetery, 232 Fuller Street, Everett. Visiting hours following the interment at the home of Lindsay and Michael Weiss and continuing Monday and Tuesday from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM.
