

Irving Feinberg, a longtime resident of Wakefield, MA, passed away on January 4 after a long and courageous battle with Parkinson’s Disease. Born in Boston on February 15, 1943 and raised in Malden, MA, Irving was the son of the late Hyman (David) and Sarah Feinberg.
Irving was a devoted husband to his loving wife of 57 years, Margaret; cherished father of Deena Armstrong and her husband, James, of Stittsville, Ontario and Jessica Feinberg and her fiancé, Bryce Hanson, of Swampscott, MA; and beloved grandfather of Tyler and Caroline Armstrong of Stittsville, Ontario. Irving is predeceased by his brothers Louis and Martin “Mickey” Feinberg, and is survived by his sisters, Dianne Howe of Tewksbury, MA, Irene Barry of Merrimack, NH, and Elaine Williams of Lynn, MA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews whom he dearly loved.
Irving was an avid and talented musician, music lover and supporter who thoroughly enjoyed attending live events. Often described as a gentleman, Irving had a relaxed and reassuring demeanor with a playful sense of humor. His beaming smile and gentle nature will be deeply missed by all who know him.
