James Irving Kaden

METHUEN – James I. Kaden, 72, of Methuen, formerly of Salem, entered into rest August 5, 2013 at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington. Beloved husband of Mildred (Finn) Kaden. Born in Salem, dear son of the late Leo and Frances Kaden. He was a graduate of Salem High School and attended Merrimack College.

Mr. Kaden was a retail buyer for the former Jordan Marsh Stores and Rich’s Department Stores for many years prior to his retirement. He also enjoyed working as a car insurance appraiser.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by eight devoted children, Kimberly Kaden, Karen Noel, Keith Kaden and his wife Judy, Kurt Kaden, Cheryle Falls and her husband Vincent, the late Robin Williams and her husband Donald, Kathleen Lorenzo and her husband Craig and Stephanie DiBurro and her husband Peter; cherished grandfather of Vincent Jr., Jarred, Bradley, Brittany, Corey, Janice, Lyndsey, Lacey, Emily and Jessica and adored great grandfather of Kayleigh and Payton. He was also the loving brother of the late Anita Kaplan.

Graveside services at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, 185 Lake Street, Peabody on Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at 12 Noon. Memorial observance will be announced at the service on Wednesday.
