Marcia Cohen

July 10, 1927 - March 27 2024

Marcia Cohen of Peabody, MA, entered into rest on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at the age of 96. She was the beloved wife of the late Albert Cohen; the devoted mother of Marc Cohen, Cynthia Rabinovitch, and Shelley Cohen; the cherished grandmother of Andrew Cohen, Samantha Mccammond, Joshua Rabinovitch, Ben Rabinovitch, Trey Bradford, and Andrew Bradford; the loving sister of Barbara Goldberg and the late Estelle Stockman, the dear daughter of the late Louis and Leah Siegel.

Marcia grew up in Massachusetts and graduated from Boston University. She went on to become a school teacher and a librarian. Marcia and Albert raised their family in Peabody and were dedicated members of Congregation Sons of Israel. She volunteered for many years as at the Senior Center, story times for children, and knitting gloves for Purple Heart soldiers.

Marcia loved her time spent with family and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, March 29, 2024 at Maple Hill Cemetery, Workman's Cir, Peabody, MA 01960.
