Roos, Nancy, 66 of Nahant, June 11, 2013. Loving Mother of Noah, Jacob and Mikaela Musman. Beloved sister of the late Richard Goldstein and daughter of the late William & Eleanor Goldstein. She is survived by her uncle Leo Schwartz, cousins Jan, Ron and Barry Schwartz, sister-in-law Joyce Ames, and nephews, Joshua and David Goldstein.
She was a sports fanatic, a dog-lover, an amazing baker, an attorney and top real estate agent, and a loyal, devoted friend to many. She was strong, full of life, independent, honest, generous, determined, intelligent, and very much loved. But above all else, Nancy loved being a mother. A "second mother" to several, she was her happiest surrounded by and spending time with her children and all of their friends.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to honor and remember Nancy's life by gathering at Stanetsky-Hymanson Memorial Chapel, 10 Vinnin St. in Salem, MA at 2 pm on Thursday, June 13. The family will receive visitors that evening from 5-9 pm at the home of George & Eva Markos, again on Friday, June 14 from 2-9 pm at the home of Thomas & Linda Dibenedetto, and on Saturday, June 15 from 2-9 pm at the late residence of Nancy Roos.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in memory of Nancy Roos to support cancer research and patient care. Please send donations to Dana-Farber P.O. Box 849168 Boston, MA 02284 or via www.dana-Farber.org/gift. For online condolences, please visit www.stanetskyhymansonsalem.com.
