Ruth graduated from Lynn English High School in 1947 and went onto secretarial school. She worked as a legal secretary for two attorneys, Garfield R. Morgan and Philip L. Sisk. Her mother suggested she go on to become a secretary at General Electric where she worked in excess of 30 years.
She was known for her quick wit and extreme intelligence.
She was a member of Congregation Shirat Hayam in Swampscott.
Ruth loved cats, but especially her own pet cat, Minnie.
The family is most appreciative of the kindness and care rendered by Tosin Odusanya of Lynn and Donna O’Brien of Amesbury.
A Graveside Service will be held Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at Anshai Sfard Cemetery in Danvers.
