Saul Gurman

Saul Gurman– of Beverly, entered into rest on Sunday, August 18, 2024 at the age of 101. Beloved husband of the late Eva (Zecker) Gurmam. Dear son of the late Jacob and Annie (Adelman) Gurman. Devoted father of Robert Gurman and his wife Martha of Marblehead, Debra Gurman of Beverly and the late Steven and Claire Gurman. Cherished grandfather of Jesssica Wilson and Michael Gurman and loving great grandfather of Taylor and Olivia Wilson.

Saul grew up in Chelsea and raised his family in Beverly. An honorably discharged veteran, he served his country during World War II as a member of the United States Army Air Corps. Saul was a Purple Heart recipient and a survivor of the sinking warship HMT Rohna.

A funeral service for Saul will be held on Friday, August 23, 2024 at 10:30 AM at Stanetsky-Hymanson Memorial Chapel, 10 Vinnin Street, SALEM. Interment will be held privately.

Family and friends are invited to gather at the Kernwood Country Club, 1 Kernwood Street, Salem on Friday afternoon beginning at 1:00 PM until 7:30 PM.
