

Tanya Grinkrug (Shliomovich) of Revere, MA, entered into rest on April 22, 2020. Beloved wife of Mikhail Grinkrug for over 70 years and mother of Efim Grinkrug and Irina Reznikova (Grinkrug). Cherished grandmother of Michael, Rita, Leonid and Yelena, and great-grandmother to Nati and Sephi. She was the daughter of Chaim and Gita Shliomovich, and youngest sister of Mordukh, Hana, Bella, Sonia, and Rita.
Tanya was born in the town of Starye Dorogi in Belarus and moved to Moscow to start college, just weeks before the start of World War II. Along with her school, she was evacuated to Tashkent, Uzbekistan, where she remained for most of the war. Upon returning to Moscow, she earned an engineering degree and had a successful career in radio and television engineering. She was adored by her many siblings and relatives; in later years, was a quiet epicenter of strength, dignity, goodwill and good humor for everyone who knew her. Tanya was a talented chef, created beautiful needlepoint artwork, and derived great joy from raising her children and grandchildren, as well as tending to her wonderful marriage of over 70 years.
Funeral services at the Pride of Lynn Cemetery will be private.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in her memory to the Cure Alzheimer's Fund in Wellesley Hills, MA
