Adam was born in Salem June 7, 1979. He grew up in Aumsville and attended Bethel Baptist Kindergarten, then Aumsville Grade School and Cascade High School. He enjoyed many activities including Cub scouts, little league baseball, fishing, and swimming in Grandma's pool, or picking on his younger brother.
Adam attended the Salem Free Methodist Church for many years where he accepted Jesus as his savior and was baptized to the delight of his family and youth pastor, Josh Nagle. He also played guitar with his brother and dad at church, and his Grandmother at a retirement home. His passion was music. He participated in alternative band competitions and had an eclectic style, and had recently written some music.
As a teen Adam suffered from severe depression and bipolar disorder. Many physical and mental challenges were faced over the last several years. He will be greatly missed and is greatly loved my all his family and friends. We praise the Lord for Adam and the joys and challenges he brought. It is a comfort to know he is no longer suffering and is with our Lord Jesus.
Adam is survived by his father, Dave (Deana) Ury; mother, Christina Dotter; siblings, Ryan (Britt) Ury, W.C. Anderson, Audrey Anderson; nephew, Elias; Grandparents, Don (Keeta) Dotter, Rich Ury, and Bettie Lynd.
