KEIZER, ORE. ~ Anna K. Van Horn was born August 5, 1920 in Turner, Ore. to parents, Marvin Thomas and Almeda Sheets. She went on to be with our Lord and Savior August 15, 2010. Anna graduated June 1938 from Aumsville High School. She worked as a florist at The Blossom Shop and was a loyal member of The Christian Center. She married Kenneth Van Horn July 17, 1943. She enjoyed flowers, canning, painting and genealogy. Anna is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Richard Thomas; husband, Kenneth Van Horn; and son-in-law, Bill Jones. She is survived by son, Marvin Van Horn of Fall City, Ore.; daughter, Julie Jones of Scottsdale, Ariz.; grandkids, Julia (Ed) Hill of Woodbridge, Va., Karen (Randy) Huff of West Salem, Ore., Kenny Van Horn of Jefferson, Ore., Tia (Tony) Ramirez of Salem, Ore., Tara (Hermilo) Ramirez of Aumsville, Ore., Scott Van Horn of Fall City, Ore.; 13 great-grandkids; and eight great-great-grand-kids. Visitation will be from 8 - 10 a.m., August 20, 2010, at Howell-Edwards-Doerksen Funeral Home followed by a graveside service to be held at 12:30 p.m. at Willamette National Cemetery.
