

Preceded in death by both parents and her three brothers, Elmer (Angelina) Perry, Eugene (Mabel) Perry and Edward (Francine) McMullen.
Beloved cousin to Ronald (Sandra) Koskondy, and Judith (Russell) Glodt.
Beloved aunt to Barbara (Raymond) Kujawski, Alison Fast, Christine Caperton, Elmer (Kelly) Perry Jr, Diana (Robert) McGrew, Katherine (Duane) Perry, Jeffrey (Lynda) Perry, Edward McMullen Jr, Patricia Ann dec. (Chuck) Britton, Pamela (Joseph) Zab and James (Ruth) McMullen, and many cousins, great nieces and nephews.
Bonnie was a hairdresser most of her life, still cutting hair until she died. She had a quirky and funny personality. She found joy in helping her older clients.
She married Ed DelPonte and spent several years with him on the harness-horse racing circuit as owners and trainers, often enjoying trips to the Winner’s Circle.
Bonnie loved animals and had many dogs during her lifetime, including Jody, Samantha, Miss Belle and Molly.
Some of her best years were spent living in Lake Tahoe, near her dearest friends Tina and Art Roybal. She also resided in California, Texas, Arizona and spent her remaining years in Oregon.
A devout Catholic, Bonnie loved volunteering in her parish and had a special friendship with Father Gary Zerr of St Edward Catholic Church of Keizer. She accompanied him along with fellow parishioners on a pilgrimage to Hungary and Austria.
In her final years she enjoyed bunko, cribbage, water exercising, park gatherings and spending time with dear friends, including Nancy Snider and Margaret Martinez.
A mass will be held in her honor at St Edward Catholic Church, 5303 River Rd N, Keizer, OR 97303 on Saturday, July 20, 2024, at 11:00 am.
A Celebration of Life will be held following the mass at Sundial MHC, in the Community Building, 2200 Lancaster Dr SE, Salem OR 97317, at 1:00 pm.
Internment of her ashes will be at St Joseph Cemetery in Ashtabula, OH where she will be placed along with her beloved mother, at a date to be determined.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her honor to the Catholic dioceses or the local Humane Society.
