Brandon was known for his humor, his outspoken nature, and most of all, his incredibly compassionate heart. He had a way of connecting with people and showing deep empathy for others. Brandon would do anything for anyone, and his kindness left a lasting impression on all who knew him.
He found his greatest joy in the outdoors. Brandon loved bow hunting, fishing, and camping—anything that brought him closer to nature. One of his most cherished memories was an early hunting trip with his cousin, Zachary Hill. True to Brandon’s spirit, he woke up at 4:00 a.m. and insisted they get moving, eager to start the day. Along the way, they spotted a herd of about 14 to 16 elk. The two quietly prepared their bows and decided to count to three and shoot at the same time—but in true Brandon fashion, he jumped the count and released his arrow at two instead of waiting for three. Though his cousin wasn’t thrilled about the early wake-up—or the early shot—it became a story that perfectly captured Brandon’s enthusiasm, humor, and love for the hunt.
Above all else, Brandon loved his family. His children were the center of his world, and he spoke of them often, always expressing how much he loved and missed them. His love for them was constant and unwavering, and that love will continue to surround them always.
Brandon is survived by his parents, Stacy Harker and Ira Braun; his stepfather, Tab Bell; his beloved children, Braden Harker, Addison, and Rorie Harker; his siblings, Isaiah Braun, Samantha Bell, Tabatha Bell, Alecea Thompson, and Ira Braun; his grandparents, Jerry Harker and Dena Graham; his cousins, Zachary Hill, Justin Phelps, Daniel Bazzy, Jacob Bazzy, and Kylie Harker; and many aunts, uncles, extended family members, and loved ones, including Heather Bazzy, Jessie Harker, Melissa Crowder, Alexis Jackson, Jordan Jackson, and Melinda Rae.
He was preceded in death by loved ones who welcomed him home.
Brandon will be remembered for his laughter, his big heart, and his deep love for his family. His presence will be greatly missed, but his spirit will live on in the memories he created and the lives he touched.
