Cecilia "Ceci" Jaramillo

Our beloved Cecilia Ceci Jaramillo, unexpectedly passed away on February 21, 2021 due to complications of Rett syndrome, a genetic disorder that severely impedes neurological development.  She was born on May 13,1998 in Salem. 

Despite being confined to a wheelchair, Ceci was included in all family activities, including Rett Stroll-A-Thons, Camp Attitude and Wheels to Walk.  She graduated from McNary High School Special Education program in 2016.

She bravely dealt with many physical challenges, but was always a happy, smiling girl.  Although Ceci could not talk, she made a lasting impression on all who knew her with her spirit, humor and gentle nature.  She was the light of her family’s life and will be forever missed.  "Fly away our sweet angel, at last in a place free of pain, free to walk and talk."

Ceci is survived by her parents, Sarah and Juan Jaramillo; sisters, Priscilla, Angelina and Dahlia; grandparents, Maria and Vicente Jaramillo and Margaret and Bob Blaine and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
