

Colin was born in Newport, OR on January 14th, 1975, to Melodie Lang and Tom Gravon. He attended Eddyville grade school, Marquam grade school and graduated from Yamhill-Carlton high school. Colin attended Oregon State University through the years of 1993-1997 while living in Corvallis and ultimately settled in Salem.
Colin worked in the field of Information Technology, which led to his time in the Insurance industry where he met his loving wife of 23 years, Michealann Gravon. Colin was best known for an incredibly joyful disposition and a passion to explore, discuss, debate, and analyze a wide variety of subjects throughout his life. He knew no limits to continually gaining knowledge and embracing the growth that it brings. His knowledge, expression of ideas, and kind heart were the foundation of the connections he made with family and friends.
Colin is survived by his wife, Michealann Gravon, his sisters Diana Simmons and Irene Carey, his brother Paul Gorow, and his family that supported and raised him during his most formative years: Sandra Gravon, Deb and Dennis Butler, Izaak Butler, and Jessie Garrett.
A private celebration of Colin’s life will be held at a later date. Any memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
