Darlene June Schirman went home to the Lord on Thursday, September 1st, 2016. She was 81. Darlene is survived by her husband of 59 years, Marvin Schirman; her daughter Connie Sparks, husband Tim; her daughter Kristie Patton, husband Don; her sister, Donna Rodia; her 4 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren. Darlene is predeceased by her parents, Ernie and Alice Radke; and her brother, Ron Radke.
A public visitation will be held Thursday, September 8th, 2016, from 9am-5pm, at Howell Edwards Doerksen Funeral Home in Salem, OR. A memorial service will take place the following day, Friday, September 9th, 2016, at West Hills Community Church in Salem. Darlene will be committed privately in Willamette National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society, or to the West Hills Community Church in Salem.
