Eleanor Hines

Our sweet baby Eleanor went to be with Jesus at Doernbecher Children's Hospital, accompanied by many of the family members and friends who cherished her. Five-year-old Eleanor wanted to be a doctor when she grew up, but she may never have dreamed that she could give so many the gift of life in her last moments.

Everyone who met her remarked upon Eleanor's sweet smile, her charm, and her kindness. Her favorite activity was playing with friends in the outdoors. Eleanor's caring heart was especially evident when seen helping her big sister. Friendships came easily to this darling little girl, and her originality, independence, mischievous humor, and sense of adventure made her a favorite of many.

Eleanor will be forever loved and sorely missed by parents Susan Bickle Hines and Derek Hines and sister Isabella; and missed by a loving extended family including grandparents aunts uncle s cousins and countless friends

A celebration of Eleanor's life is planned for Saturday, May 3, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Silver Creek Fellowship, 822 Industrial Way NE Silverton OR 97381.
