Gloria Nadene Hannon

In 1966, Gloria married the love of her life, Jim Hannon. They were married for 40 years. Gloria is survived by her children Michael (Anna) Phillips of Salem, Lynn (Phil) Buck of Wabeno Wisconsin, Mark Hannon of Salem and Rebecca Hannon of Keizer, grandchildren Eric, Kenny, Brittani and Brandi, and great-grandchildren Lilianna, Graycen and Liam. She is also survived by her sister, Mildred Doss of Salem.

In addition to her parents and husband, Gloria was preceded in death by son Robert A. Hannon, and brothers Darrell and Louis.

Gloria attended South Salem High School and later worked for State of Oregon until her retirement. She was a longtime member of People’s Church in Salem where she enjoyed quilting with the Creative Stitchers quilting group and ministering to others through prayer. Whether square dancing and bowling with her husband, or acting as a den mother and scout leader for her children, Gloria’s greatest enjoyment came in spending time with her family.

The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to People’s Church for their ongoing love and support and to Willamette Vital Health for their tender care of Gloria over the past few months.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, March 5th, at People’s Church in Salem.
