Jack graduated from Crook County High School in Prineville, Oregon. He served 23 years in the Air Force with tours to Japan, Korea, and Vietnam. In 1973, Jack, his wife Masae, and four children moved to Keizer, Oregon. Jack worked for the Statesman Journal, Truitt Brothers, and AC&E Electric before retiring in 2007.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Masae, in March of 2020. Jack and Masae are survived by their four children – Jay, Chet, Miki, Jon – 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and their two dogs, Rio and Pedro. We sure miss you Pa.
Graveside service will be held September 24th at 1:00 pm for Jack and Masae at Belcrest Memorial Park, Salem, Oregon. Arrangements by Howell Edwards Doerksen with Rigdon Ransom Funeral Directors.
