Jana Emily Sturgeon was born to David Lavelle and Shirley Lois Sturgeon. She was the "button" of their eye and was a miracle. Jana faced many obstacles throughout her life, but kept smiling as she graduated from Starlight Park Elementary School, Omega Charter School, Trevor G. Browne High School, and chose her career path by graduating with her M.A. from Everest College. She was continuing her learning at Chemekta Junior College.
Jana was a lover of music, and her family which included every person she ever had the opportunity to talk to. Jana lived her life to the fullest, taking road trips with her best friend Camilla and hiking the scariest mountains . The love of her life was Tyler Perrine and her excitment regarding their reunion was so powerful it swept everyone around them into her place of happiness.
Jana truley believed it was her job to scatter sunshine everywhere she went and she succeeded.
She is survived by her sister's and their families (Larria, Chad, Zayn & Alex Carroll) and (Kiawa Sturgeon, Donald Ward, Mathew Piper, Micah MacPherson, Donnie and Sky Ward).
