Madison was born on March 4th, 2003, to Jeff and Kim Howell. She is the youngest of three children, having two older brothers, Tyler and Austin. From the start of her beautiful life, she proved herself to be a fighter. At the age of 9 weeks old, Madison had already gone through two open heart surgeries and a third followed at the age of 8. From her adventurous attitude and infectious smile, no one could have imagined just how much adversity she had been through. She had the innate ability to bring joy to those around her and love harder than ever imaginable.
Madison’s life revolved around her big brothers, and likewise, theirs revolved around her. She had a certain confidence about her that allowed her to believe she could take on her brothers when wrestling or playing football. This same confidence was seen when she would sing surprise solos in front of hundreds of people and dance like no one was watching. Madison was blessed with more rhythm than all of her family members combined. This rhythm would be on full display every Sunday as she danced and sang along in worship. Madison had an unparalleled ability to light up a room with her presence. Whether it be at an Oregon State football game or hanging out with friends and family, Madison radiated pure happiness.
She is survived by both of her parents Jeff and Kim, along with her brothers Tyler and Austin, both of her sisters-in-law Melissa and Sophia, her grandpa Herb Howell, and grandma Jodi Wallace. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, April 12th, 2024, at 6:30pm at Salem Heights Church (375 Madrona Ave S, Salem, OR 97302). The family would like to extend the option for people to wear Oregon State University attire in her honor.
