Our dear Marlys Jean Hanson, age 77, passed away suddenly on Friday, July 8th, 2022 in Salem, Oregon. Marlys will be remembered for her smile, her contagious laugh, and her ability to make friends everywhere she went. She loved her family fiercely, leading them through countless adventures throughout her life. While we are heartbroken from her absence here on Earth, we find comfort knowing she is with Jesus in Heaven; where she always longed to be. She was predeceased by her father, brother, and husband, and is survived by her mother, two brothers, two sisters, and her three children, multiple grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
