

Mary’s family moved to Alturas, CA when she was one. She attended elementary school in Alturas before going to boarding school at Holy Rosary Academy in Woodland, CA where she received her degree. She excelled in music, playing the piano, organ, and harp. While at Holy Rosary Academy, she won many music awards.
Mary and her family moved to Salem, OR in 1943 and she started teaching piano and organ in 1951. She became a state accredited music teacher and was a member of the Oregon Music Teachers Association.
Mary is survived by her seven children, Mary Lou Server, Gerald Gloster, John Gloster, Yvonne Regimbal, Donna Claire Gojenola, Kevin Kiely, and Kim Wilkerson. She is also survived by her long-time companion Beverly Martin, her 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 sisters, husband Maurice, 1 grandson, and 1 great-grandson.
The family would like to thank Maryville Nursing Home for their kind and compassionate care of our mother for the last 18 months.
Recitation of the Rosary will be Fri., Oct. 14, 7:30 pm at Howell-Edwards-Doerksen Funeral Home. Funeral mass will be celebrated Sat., Oct. 15, 2 pm at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 721 Chemeketa Street NE, Salem.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that remembrances be made in her name to Maryville Nursing Home, 14645 SW Farmington Rd., Beaverton, OR 97007.
