Pamela Morris

Pamela Ann Morris, beloved Aunt, friend, and mentor to many, passed away on August 25, 2023 in Salem, Oregon. She will be remembered with love and gratitude by those of us touched by her gracious and generous spirit and greatly missed by her family and friends.

Pam was born on March 15, 1946 to Lloyd and Pauline (Stein) Morris. She grew up in Newport, Oregon with her parents and her brother Alan. After graduating from Newport High School in 1964, Pam attended Linfield College in McMinnville where she earned a BA in Education. Pam began and ended her 32 year teaching career at Willamina Middle School in Willamina, Oregon.

Pam was a long-time and extremely dedicated member of Salem First Presbyterian Church, which she joined in 1976. She was an Elder, Deacon, greeter, and served on several church committees and ministries throughout her time as a member there.

Pam will be lovingly remembered by her niece, Keirsten Smyth and nephew, Alec Morris as well as by her great-nieces and nephews, extended family, and many dear friends.

A memorial for Pam will be held on October 21 at 1 pm at Salem First Presbyterian Church in Salem, Oregon. Flowers may be sent to the church.
