Sherry was born on February 25, 1946 in Portland Oregon to Ralph and Alice Moorehead. She Graduated from Santa Barbara City College with an AA Degree. Sherry married the love of her life Donald on June 8th 1982.
Sherry loved putting together plays, silk flower arrangements, and attending church. She absolutely enjoyed driving school bus for the Salem Academy.
Sherry is predeceased by her father Ralph Moorhead, mother Alice Moorhead, and Her Grandson Andrew Cota.
Sherry is survived by her daughter Dana (Kevin) Spade, daughter Debbie (Evan) Lyman, son Michael (Karen) Cota, Son Christopher (Iris) Cota, son Donald Bowdish III, daughter Jenny Oliver, aunt Evelyn Burns, cousin Lois Norris, 15 Grandchildren, and 1 Great Grandchild.
Services for Sherry will be held on Thursday May 29, 2014 with a viewing from 10-2pm at Howell-Edwards-Doerksen funeral home and a Memorial service at 3pm at the Peoples Church located at 4500 Lancaster Drive Ne in Salem.
In Lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Cancer Awareness society in Sherry name.
