

Tony was born on November 28, 1982 to Kolbert S. Angei and Hekar P. Angei. He was born in Pohnpei, Micronesia and moved to Honolulu Hawaii in 2009 where he resided until 2014 when he made the move to Salem, Oregon.
Tony attended Berea Christian School from kindergarten until he graduated high school. He attended college shortly after, and received an Associates Degree in Computer Science. Tony had a long career as a Lead Supervisor of 7-11 convenience stores in Honolulu and Oregon. When he was not working, tony was very active in his local churches, as a Youth Musician and Youth Leader. He had a natural gift and love for singing, making, and playing music.
Tony is loved and supported by his family, with whom he was very close. This includes his families all over the globe – his Ta / Enuk family, his Aina family, his Lemalak family and his Lepeito family. Tony is survived and remembered by numerous family members, namely his sister Heileen A. Dereas, brother-in-law Marguess Dereas, Michael and Kolger Petrus, as well as nieces and nephews MJ Dereas, Deilany / Faamanu Tunoa, Jahmilla D. / Enben Ruben, and Cheryl Petrus. He loved being a Granduncle to Faamanu Tunoa Jr., Lavani Frank, and Ariah Halime Frank. His biological mother Pwerech Amaraich and sisters Margo A. Robert / Jerry Robert and Marney Siminia / Walter Simina loved and supported Tony throughout his life. He lived with and was very close to his uncle Kimiuo Ludwig (and family) as well as his cousins, Mr. and Mrs. Keiny Aisek, Mr. and Mrs. Lover Haimin, Mr. and Mrs. Michael Petrus, Mr. and Mrs. Burden Amaraich, Mr. and Mrs. Hipper Manasa, Mr. and Mrs. Micho and Felistas Ychiro.
Tony’s love for music and his family will be remembered by all those that he knew in his lifetime. As a dedicated musician and singer all his life, it was befitting that Tony’s last words were a song that he loved.
