He was born to Isaac and Susanna (Weibe) Kroeker in Beaver, Oklahoma on July 25, 1934. Wally served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was a helicopter pilot and technical inspector. Wally was a war hero earning the Good Conduct Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal, the Vietnam Cross of Galantry, the Aircraft Creman Badge, and the Aircraft Mechanic Badge.
He is survived by his sister, Shirley; his brother, Don; and most of his children. Wally will be laid to rest in Willamette National Cemetery, Portland, Oregon.
