

Warren M. Miller joined his beloved wife Kathryn in Heaven on August 26th, 2011. He was 90 years old. Warren was born in Millersburg, Ohio on July 7th, 1921 to Melvin and Sadie (Mast) Miller. He graduated from Berlin High School in 1939. Warren earned degrees from both Ohio State University and Goshen College. On June 7th, 1949 he married Kathryn Yoder in Goshen, Indiana. She” beat him to Heaven” by one year, 7 months, and 7 days.
Warren was a minister at Martins Creek Mennonite Church in Millersburg, Ohio for 20 years. Throughout his lifetime, Warren was a farmer, he raised chickens, and he was also a minister, teacher, furniture manufacturer, real estate agent and property manager. But most of all, he was a husband, dad and grandpa. After retiring to Oregon in 1970, he became a member of Salem First Church of the Nazarene.
Warren loved taking pictures of family gatherings, vacations, and special occasions. He had a huge heart, and loved helping people. Warren was fond of experiencing new and interesting places. He traveled numerous times across the United States, spent time in Puerto Rico, Alaska, and Hawaii, and in his later years he and Kathryn traveled to Europe and the Holy Land.
Warren is survived by a brother, David (Elsie) Miller of Millersburg, Ohio; a sister Mary Margaret Grasse, of Calico Rock, Arkansas; two sons; Edward Z. Miller and Edwin Y. Miller, both of Salem, daughter, Pamela K. Raber, of Keizer, granddaughters; Paula K. Raber, of Salem and Heidi J. Miller-Freetage, of Millersburg, OH, and grandsons; Michael E. Miller, of Redmond, OR and Brannin S. Jackson – Miller, of Salem, OR, as well as five great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.
