He was born in Hoquiam, Washington on October 17th, 1931.
Bill graduated from Astoria High School and received a degree in Law from the University of Oregon.
He was married to Joanne Brooks for 45 years.
Bill had a career as an attorney for TransAmerica and The State of Oregon.
He served in the Ari Force and fought in the Korean War between 1950 and 1954.
He had a deep passion for the Oregon Ducks football team.
He is survived by his wife, Joanne, his children, Kirk (Marilyn) and Jeanie (Frank), grandchildren, John (Brei) and Chrystal (Aldo). He was preceded by his two brothers, Roger and David.
