

Bernice J. Bradley, beloved wife, mother and sister passed away December 30, 2014 from natural causes. Bernice was the third child born to Bernard S. Wilson and Minni Dove on December 21, 1926 in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, England. Married S. George Bradley August 26, 1950 in Sheffield, England and sealed in the Salt Lake Temple in 1954. They met at a monthly church auxiliary meeting. George and Bernice quickly became close friends and were married a year later. Both immigrated to the United States in April 1953.
Bernice was a life-long member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Bernice served in many capacities and leadership positions both in England and the United States.
As a child, Bernice memorized poetry and always enjoyed reading it. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, always looking out for the needs of her family. She was an accomplished cook and frequently shared her baked goods with those she felt were in need.
Bernice is survived by her husband and children, Carrol (Ed) Firmage, Paul (Liz); seven grandchildren, Elizabeth (Kenneth), Eddie (Anna), Lauren, Sarah, Matthew, Christopher and Victoria; brother Rex (Myra) Wilson and sister June (Cal) Marshall. Preceded in death by her parents and older brother Ray (Edith) Wilson.
Funeral services will be held Monday, January 5, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Mount Olympus Ward chapel, 4635 Lanark Road (3285 East), Salt Lake City. A viewing will be held Sunday, January 4, 2015 from 5:00–7:00 p.m. at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 Highland Drive, Salt Lake City, and from 10:00–10:45 a.m. prior to the funeral services at the Mount Olympus Ward. Interment at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
