Connie was born in Vallejo, California to Conrad “Bill” and Cleo Hunter. After the war, her family moved to Cedar City in Southern Utah then to Salt Lake City until High School. She also attended the University of Utah before her family moved to Tillamook Oregon, while there she worked at the Tillamook Library Book Mobile. In the fall of 1966, she alone moved back to Salt Lake where she met Dan and after almost a year of courtship on August 24, 1967 they married in the Salt Lake Temple and they have shared over 50 years of marriage.
She has worked at various jobs secretary HOJ engineering, manager House of Fabrics and most recently the owner of Busy Beads and Jewelry LLC. Most of her life she was a housewife.
Connie was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served faithfully in many callings over the years. She and Dan were also called as office missionaries in the Salt Lake City South Mission from 2013-2014.
She enjoyed her hobbies of sewing, gardening, and beading. She loved to visit her grandchildren. She will be remembered for being thoughtful and loving of all things living, a passion that gave her great knowledge of these things and a desire to learn more about the world around her.
