My dear Elvia<3 as I lay here in Bed looking up your obituary My mind can't stop thinking about you!! My heart can't stop hurting!! I still remember the first time I met you.. And how many memories I have of you!! You were always smiling;) I honestly never seen you mad!! Still can't believe that you're gone Mija;( it was so hard to say good bye!! Its been a month today since we lost you;( and I still wait to see your smiling face.. But, I know that you're in a better place next to god watching over you're family and friends!! Family of Elvia, I could not believe it when I saw her picture in the obituaries. She and I were among the first employees at the new WalMart on 13th South and 300 West. She worked in the department next to where I worked. She was always so pleasant to be around and a very hard worker at the store. This is a parent's worst nightmare, to lose a child. Having lost my own daughter just 2 months ago in a tragedy, I have some understanding of how empty you must feel. My own loss has changed my life forever as I am sure losing Elvia has changed yours. I can only tell you that I am so very sorry for your loss and hope it gets easier for you as time passes. I pray for her kids especially. God bless all of you. He will help you get through this.

I have never forgotten her because of her bubbly personality. Thank you for sharing Eliva with me and my family, as well as with Our Lady of Guadelupe Girl Scouts. If she wasn't raising her hand to answer a question she was sharing all her candy and lemons that she would sneak in with all the other girls. The last time I saw Elvia was when Lynda and Alijandra were in scouts with us (our last years). As a grown women she was still the same girl I met in the 2nd grade. The times she slept at my house, or when we went camping (she managed to bring her whole closet) she would unpack and the room would be a mess. This happened all the time. (good times!) 
  Whenever you miss her or feel you need to talk to her reach into your heart and she will be there to listen to you. Thank you for letting me and the other scout leaders see her before her passing. There are so many wonderful and funny things I could say, You all know what they are. Carol you know if there is anything we can help you with you have my number. Lynda and Alijandra your mommy is always close to you.

I am so sorry for your loss, I have been following any updates on the news & her FB page. I was deeply sadden to see when her brother posted that she wasn't going to make it.
