To honor this Hero who saved so many lives, as he got his Semi-Truck off the road causing no wreck. but only in leaving us with his own life. We would like you to join us in honoring the moments of his life. As we set into a journey of remembrance we welcome you to join this incredible man. Who not only saved the life’s of many on that day, But also that of the people he had shared memories with.
“Riding For the Brand”.
There is a mountain sitting in a setting that nobody can reach no matter how hard you try. When at tops reached there is this grateful man saying goodbye.
Not for ever but as a guardian and with a handed down saddle, upon an old white horse he sits proud and wise knowing he was loved.
For all the people who he cared, there is a huge part of him we all have shared.
Into the eyes of a son, a brother, a husband and a father and many beloved friends. There is a message he still sends;
Look at this and be wise, as a hidden tear falls down his eyes. He grins a stubborn grin that makes you spin, as you do, you look upon his touching face as the drop falls to land, noticing that there in the shadows is a light of the rightful hand.
Shown the way and taken by god. Peaceful songs of rhythm and memories flight, touching your soul holding you tight as this cowboy falls riding into the dusk.
In-with him witch he takes is that: a part of each and every one of us.
Echoing promises for not the end but a beginning of something new. Holding the Past, Future and Present always is his spirit honest and true.
Downward dipped is his brim tipped, alongside with a nod by an assurance of an old traveled hat. On the edge of the wind, a laugh that whispers how about that.
His faith gifted, here now lifted but yet planted strong. he holds within his soul all his grown roots. Dusting off them old cowboy boots.
The floating dust sending us the meaning of good, in remembrance of him as we can and we will, as we should.
With a sudden click there goes a sound of his spur. There on leaving us in all of god’s precious grace steady and sure.
That of this what we call life, he wants us to live to our fullest.
He turns for a moment to look back to his life’s trail. Within memory of us he whispers; I’ll be there, and you will never fail. With another first breath taken from there, then forward disappearing by the brush of his horse’s tail.
