Leslie Lynn Larson

Leslie Lynn Larson, 63, passed away November 26th, 2012 in Eagle Mountain, Utah. Born March 29th, 1949 to Peck and Darlene Larson in Salt Lake City, Utah. She is preceded in death by her son Bryan, brother Griff and both parents. Leslie is survived by her daughter, Becky, brothers Larry and Lane, 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

As a heavy equipment operator throughout Utah, one of Leslie’s favorite statements when traveling was: “I built this road.” One of Leslie’s favorite aspects of her job was traveling around Utah, which allowed her to explore the beautiful scenery throughout the state.

Leslie was a single mother of two who single handedly raised 5 grandchildren. Many knew Leslie affectionately as “Nan” after she became a grandparent. All who knew her can recall loving memories of crafting, painting, and outdoor activities. Many also received fond words of wisdom over a cup of coffee. Nan was very compassionate and giving, and always ensured loved ones had their necessities, even if she went without.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 30th at Evans and Early Mortuary, 574 East 100 South, Salt Lake City, Utah and Mount Olivet Cemetery, 1342 East 5th South, Salt Lake City, Utah. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the Mortuary.
