Marie Anna Fuegi Hulse

Marie Anna Fuegi Hulse, age 93, passed away Friday, March 8, 2013 peacefully at her home in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born November 3, 1919 in Salt Lake City to Adolf and Anna Fuegi. Marie graduated from South High at age 16. Marie married James H. Hulse July 29, 1939. She was a strong and accomplished woman. Marie had boundless energy and interests. She served for many years in the Young Matrons Organization, PTA, and the Salt Lake Chapter of Soroptomists International. She worked for years as a professional seamstress in high-end fashion retail sales before opening Deverose Bridal, which she owned and operated for over 32 years, retiring at age 80. She loved quilting, painting, gardening, her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren. Survived by her children, Jim Hulse, Jr. (Kathy), Sydney Allred (Steve), Debra Hulse Kemp (Garn), 15 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, parents and brother Ed Fuegi.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Wednesday March 13, 2013 at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 Highland Drive, SLC. Private graveside services will be held Thursday, March 14th at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park. Condolences may be sent to www.wasatchlawn.com
